Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel are enjoying the happy anniversary of four years together as a couple.
In celebration of the couple’s anniversary of being together for four years, Jonathan sent a touching message to his girlfriend on Instagram on Friday.
“500 days of @zooeydeschanel…,” the tweet said.Jonathan posted a picture of the two of them together with the phrase, “actually it’s been a lot more, but who’s counting anyway? ” the snap. “Four years have already passed? I hope you have a wonderful anniversary, sweetheart!!! ”
On Instagram, Zooey was also seen showing some affection for her beau.
“It’s been four years since I first saw this blasted dreamboat. Zooey posted a snapshot of herself and Jonathan together with the phrase, “I love him more every day.” “I will be eternally grateful!”
When Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel’s elder sister, Emily Deschanel, were recording an episode of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke in August 2019, they were joined by Jonathan’s twin brother, Drew Scott, who stars on HGTV, and Zooey’s older sister, who is a star on Bones. This was the first time the couple saw one other.
After they had done recording the episode, the gang decided to continue having fun by singing karaoke together for a little longer after they had finished. After that, Jonathan and Zooey started exchanging daily texts and rapidly developed a strong attraction for one another.
Although they were seen kissing on camera during a live broadcast of Dancing with the Stars later that same month in September 2019, the pair did not formally make their relationship known to the public until later that same month when they were seen holding hands at a dinner date in September 2019.
After acquiring what would become their “dream home” in Los Angeles in June 2020, the pair took their love to the next level and moved in together. The “dream home” had five bedrooms. Together with Zooey’s two children, Charlie, 6, and Elsie, 7, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, the two adults and Zooey’s children call this roomy dwelling their primary residence.
The couple revealed their freshly renovated house in a cover story for the month of June that appeared in the magazine published by the brothers, Drew + Jonathan Reveal. The renovations took place over the course of two years. Jonathan referred to the Georgian-style residence built in 1938 as “a beautiful home with a lot of history.”
Zooey continued by saying, “This is a house that suits both our aesthetic preferences and our practical requirements.” Jonathan is quite remarkable in his ability to figure that out. For such a long time, he has been performing this service for his customers, and now he has provided it for our family.
Jonathan told out about how significant the remodeling of their house was to him in an interview that was conducted in March by PEOPLE in an exclusive capacity.
He said to PEOPLE that “there is nothing more important than home.” And the older I grow, the more I value being at home with the kids and being at home with Zooey. “And the older I get, the more I realize how much I appreciate being at home.” This home was actually created by us to address each and every one of our concerns.
The star of Property Brothers continued by stating that he wanted to “make sure that as the kids get older, you know, the house will grow with them, and that we can host and entertain.” Everything we’ve done, it seems to me, has been for the sole purpose of bringing the individuals we care about into closer proximity.
